Activities & Events at the 2017 Chubb Classic PGA TOUR Champions Tournament

Naples, Fla. – The 30th anniversary of the Chubb Classic takes place February 13 – 19 at The TwinEagles Club in Naples, Fla. The PGA TOUR Champions event will offer on-site activities for a diverse crowd with a PGA TOUR Superstore Demo Day for the ultimate golf fanatic, a two-day food, beer and wine festival for the local foodie and an on-site putting challenge suitable for the entire family. 

The tournament is the longest standing event in one metropolitan area on the PGA TOUR Champions circuit. To recognize the support of fans and the Southwest Florida community, Chubb and the tournament are reducing general admission ticket prices by up to 40% for the 2017 event. Daily admission tickets for the 2017 tournament cost $15 per ticket and weekly general admission tickets cost $30 per ticket. Kids 17 and under will receive free admission with a ticketed adult. On-site VIP Parking - Spectators can now purchase on-site VIP parking passes online at www.ChubbClassic.com or by calling the tournament office at 239-593-3900.  On-site VIP parking passes are valid Friday through Sunday of event week and will provide spectators the opportunity to park on-site at The TwinEagles Club for $20 per day.

PGA TOUR Superstore Demo Day -Join the PGA TOUR Superstore on Friday, February 17 for Demo Day and test out equipment from five top equipment vendors. Taking place on the TwinEagles Driving Range, spectators of the Chubb Classic will have the opportunity to test clubs from Bridgestone Golf, Callaway, Cobra Puma Golf, Mizuno and PING. Callaway will provide additional demo access on Saturday, February 18, inclusive of long drive contests and prizes.

Taste of SW Florida Presented by Cadillac - Taste of SW Florida presented by Cadillac is a two-day food, beer, wine and spirits festival held in conjunction with the Chubb Classic on Friday and Saturday of event week. Enjoy live music and unlimited samples from top local restaurants, craft breweries, wineries and more, February 17 – 18 on the TwinEagles Driving Range. Taste of SW Florida daily tickets are $35 per person and include daily ground access, along with food and alcohol sampling between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. and a happy hour alcohol sampling only portion from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. A limited number of tickets are still available for both days of the event. For a complete list of participating restaurants or to purchase tickets, please visit www.ChubbClassic.com.

Waste Management Go Green Day -Friday, February 17 will be designated as Go Green Day to help increase awareness of recycling right. Throughout event week, Waste Management and the Chubb Classic will partner to educate individuals on clean recycling.  A plastic water bottle, for example, can become a park bench or the filling for a new coat.  By doing your part, you can help save raw materials which also saves time, energy and expense.  Learn more about local recycling at www.CollierRecyclesRight.com

Aquafina® Day - On Sunday, February 19 fans of the Chubb Classic will have the opportunity to receive $5 off a daily admission ticket purchased at the main entrance when celebrating Aquafina® Day. Each spectator who brings an empty PepsiCo product container to the main admissions gate to recycle will receive the discounted ticket price.  The Aquafina® Four-Pack is also available for purchase and includes four daily admission tickets, four PepsiCo products and four hot dogs or hamburgers for $79. The Aquafina® Four-Pack is available for purchase online at www.ChubbClassic.com.

SUBWAY® restaurants Family Putt For Dough -The SUBWAY® restaurants Family Putt For Dough will take place during event week, February 14 through 19 at The TwinEagles Club in Naples. This challenge is a free, three-hole putting contest that gives spectators a chance to test their skills and compete against their family, friends and fellow fans for an opportunity to win $50,000 and various prizes.  Following the completion of tournament play on Saturday, February 18, daily finalists of the SUBWAY® restaurants Family Putt For Dough will be given a chance to win $50,000 and free SUBWAY® for one year with a final putting challenge on the 18th green.

Golf to Paradise – First Tee Champions Challenge – Thanks to the support of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau, 24 First Tee participants ranging in age from 13 to 17 – two participants from 12 different Chapters across the country – will participate in a three-day golf competition at the Chubb Classic, February 17 – 19. For more information on participating Chapters, participants, or daily challenge format, please visit www.ChubbClassic.com.
